Pongal 2025 is a vibrant harvest festival celebrated in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu. It is a time of gratitude and thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest. The festival is celebrated over four days, with each day having its own significance and rituals. The main festival day is Surya Pongal, which falls on January 15, 2025. On this day, people offer prayers to the Sun God and prepare a special sweet dish called Pongal, made from rice and lentils. Other important days of the festival include Bhogi, Mattu Pongal, and Kaanum Pongal.
